Edmund Kesting. This guy is super cool. He’s German in case you couldn’t tell by his intense expressionistic style – looks like stills from a Fritz Lang movie, huh?
I wish I could find more of his photos, or really that there was a definitive place for archived amazing photography on the web (idk is there? like an ubuweb for still photos?) so get at me with some links.
These people look like a good time. I’m not even sure how I stumbled upon Viktor Vauthier’s blog but I imagined myself kicking ass and taking names with his band of bad ass baberham lincolns.
Sarah Moon’s pictures are somewhat out of a storybook. Her photos have the effect of a painting, with dream-like strokes and black and white stills that remind me of the German expressionism movement. Her work seems enigmatic of the subconscious and constantly references the past.
YAY another Friday another photog! Ren’s photos capture rare moments of uncommon beauty and i really like how she incorporates the surreal and eccentric elements. A healthy mix of subversive culture and feminine charm, her photos make me yearn to be a part of it all.
Although unrelated if you like real film photos —-you should visit this new thang NO RETROSPECTIVE !
New new new. I have trouble keeping track of my favorite photographers, fashion and otherwise- so I am going to start posting the works of those I admire – hopefully every Friday-
Starting this week off with Lina Scheynius. Visit her website here.
